If you're a Virginia turkey hunter, wildlife watcher, or someone who just happens to like getting out and riding around, Gary Norman wants to hear about any wild turkeys you see before the end of August 2019. Norman is the wild turkey project leader for the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries and he wants reports from Virginia’s “citizen-scientists,” as he calls people who share information with the agency. them. Virginia Youngsters Dialed In at 4-H Tourney; Shooters Claim National Championship

The Virginia 4-H shotgun development team brought the fireworks to the organization’s national championships in Grand Isle, Nebraska, winning both the Skeet and Trap rounds and finishing in first place overall to earn the title "National Champions." Texas took second overall followed by Louisiana in the 30-team field featuring 117 shooters.
